Maple apple oatmeal

Getting ready for syrup season,  I’m on a real maple syrup kick! Today I started my morning with something delicious and healthy. Maple Apple Oatmeal!  Perfectly sweetened with my homemade maple syrup.  This five ingredient breakfast sent me hopping and skipping into the rest of my day!

Here’s what you need:

1 cup of quick cook oats
1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1/2 of an apple chopped into small bite-size pieces
1/2 cup of boiling water (add as much or as little as you would like to make the oatmeal of the consistency you want)
2 tablespoons of real maple syrup

Here’s what you do:
1.  Chop the Apple into small bite-size pieces.
2.  Add the apples and cinnamon to the oatmeal.
3.  Add the water to the mixture and stir.
4.  Add the maple syrup and stir.

Smile, your mouth will be happy!
